  • What is included in the price that I pay for toilet hire at my event?
    Our prices for portable toilet hire always include the following: 24-hour Service Attendance Delivery & collection based on Working Hours Set-up & full on-site testing of toilets in situ at the event All consumables – fully stocked with toilet rolls, soaps, hand towels & chemicals 24 hour telephone hotline, should you need to contact us urgently VAT is not included in the price quoted, and is subject to the standard VAT rate
  • What do the units need to run?
    All we need is power, a 13 amp socket will do. If you are hiring a generator then that is ok as well, as we can connect to a standard 16 amp supply on a c-form socket. We also need access to a close by water source. However, these are details we will go through with you before you commit to hiring a unit. Call us now to discuss your precise requirements.
  • How do you deliver your units?
    We only hire out self contained towed trailer units that can be easily positioned. Your unit(s) will be delivered by a 4 x 4 vehicle. This guarantees a trouble free installation and extraction. If you have any specific requirements or concerns about the positioning of your facilities or simply want to discuss your options then please do not hesitate to contact us.
  • When & how do I need to pay for toilet hire?
    Cash Payments: 85% to confirm booking and 15% to be paid 24 hours prior to the event Cheque Payments: 85% to confirm booking and 15% to be paid 5 days prior to the event. Dishonoured cheques will be charged an addition 2% of the total amount.
  • Where will the toilet(s) be positioned?
    The single most important consideration is to ensure you have adequate space for a medium size van or 4x4 vehicle with trailer to deliver the toilet(s). As a rough guide, please allow 9ft width and 12ft height clearance at the site location. You will find the dimensions for each type of unit on the product pages of our website and additional space needs to be allowed for manoeuvring, turning and getting in to the mobile toilet unit. Toilets should be placed on flat, firm ground (ideally gravel, tarmac, concrete or hard-standing), but can also be on grass as long as it’s not too wet!). We don’t want to damage lawns or driveways when man-handling toilets into their final position, so it’s always worth having a ‘Plan B’ for where to site the units as unfortunately we cannot be liable for any accidental damage caused at the delivery address.
  • Can a toilet be built into a marquee?
    Absolutely. This is a particularly good idea. As all marquees are different, we would advise that your marquee company/event manager contact us to run through your requirements.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

SERVICES RENDERED

Our aim is to consistently improve our service delivery through feedback from customer experience. Luxury Loos agrees to furnish the equipment for the rental and servicing of a portable toilet along with the removal of liquid waste and cleaning of each unit as specified . The customer agrees to make payment for said services according to payment terms and conditions set forth by Luxury Loos.

TOILET UNIT RENTAL

Our services include the rental of a portable toilet, along with the collection and disposal of liquid waste, replenishment of fresh water, toilet paper, hand paper towels, hand wash soap, moisturizing lotion and the cleaning of the interiors. Customer acknowledges that in order to provide regular service, the unit must remain clear of debris and any building materials. The company’s vehicle must be able to come within 15′ of the unit. Only human waste is permitted in the toilet. No garbage or toxic materials of any kind is permitted to be disposed of in the toilet. Luxury Loos reserves the right to remove the unit from site that is not in compliance. No refunds will be given for days not used for non-compliant toilets. An additional charge will be added if unit is removed or damaged.

PRICING

All equipment and services are billed at the agreed upon rate. All units are subject to applicable taxes. 

PAYMENT Upon entering into this agreement, the customer agrees to pay within the stipulated payment terms.

DELIVERY OR EQUIPMENT

Delivery can be made in 24 hours after a formal request is made and payment received. Luxury Loos will not responsible for customer’s failure to designate unit placement at delivery. If unit is set in an undesired area because customer failed to designate placement area, Luxury Loos reserves the right to charge a fee for moving of portable toilets after placement. Toilets CAN NOT be placed on sidewalks, backyards, through gates, or up/downstairs. Relocation of the unit (s) will be performed by Luxury Loos at the earliest time possible. Customer agrees not to remove units from site or permit the units to be removed from the site without Luxury Loos expressed written consent. No stickers allowed on the walls of the trailer. Prior permission should be sought before placing any marketing material on the walls. Any repairs as a result of damage from use of stickers or negligence will be liable to the customer to the full satisfaction of the supplier. Electricity and water supply point to be provided by the customer.

SITE MOVE

Do not move toilets or trailers you will be responsible for any damage caused by moving the toilet. Please contact customer service to move a toilet or trailer to a new location. Scheduling a toilet or trailer move will incur a new rental fee unless it is your regular service day (no charge will be added). If you have a trailer on a jobsite it may be moved only around that jobsite delivered.

RETURN OF EQUIPMENT

It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Luxury Loos when equipment needs picked up. However, the customer is still liable for any damage, lost, stolen, burned equipment until Luxury Loos picks up the equipment. Our standard timeframe is not more than 12 hours after the pickup request has been processed. All requests submitted after 8:00 pm will be processed as of the next full business day.

DAMAGE TO UNIT

Customer agrees to return all equipment furnished under this Agreement to Luxury Loos in the same condition as delivered, subject only to normal wear and tear. Customer shall bear the risk of loss and damage to equipment. In the event of damage, customer shall pay the lesser of (a) the cost of repair, or (b) the cost of replacement.
